The list of things that are wrong with this picture are as long as the focal length used, but it's here because it's the only "wild" wild cat I've got. This Costa Rican Puma was spotted by the boat operator that came to pick us up from Sirena Ranger Station in Corcovado National Park. The equipment was already packed in the dry bag when he pointed at the bushes as we were making our way across the beach to get back on the boat. No time for tripod, very little light inside the heavy vegetation and twigs & branches in the middle that rendered the auto focus useless. I had only a very thin branch to use as support, I used the lens's OS, and the Mirror Up function to minimize the mirror slap. This whole episode consisted of 22 frames in a 2m 57s time frame before we all had to run back to the boat, but I was as happy as pie ;)
