Melting Sun

Sunsets are fun, I think it safe to say we all love them (maybe except solar panels ;). This one is close to home as well, but to the one in Israel. It was taken on one of my recent visits in Ashdod. There is something special about sunsets in the ocean, in this case the Mediterranean sea. I don't know what optical phenomenon makes the sun appear to be melting sideways into the sea, but I like it :)
